Our Founding Partner
The Damouni Group was founded on the principle of combining Sasha Damouni Ellis’s 20+ years of experience as a prominent healthcare business journalist and corporate communications officer. Sasha provides life science executives with communication expertise focused on stakeholders and metrics, with the goal of achieving their business objectives.
Most recently, Sasha was Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Vir Biotechnology, an immunology company that develops therapeutic products to treat and prevent serious infectious diseases. Before her role at Vir, she served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations at Marinus Pharmaceuticals, a company committed to improving the lives of patients with seizure disorders and was Director of External Communications and Media Relations for Bayer U.S., where she drove external brand-building campaigns in therapeutic areas of oncology, hemophilia, cardio-pulmonary, and women’s health.
Earlier in her career, Sasha was a Healthcare Journalist at Bloomberg News and Global Editor of BioPharm Insight, formerly a division of the Financial Times Group, which she launched in New York and London.
